Head Chef

Meet Brooklyn, Kitchen Manager and Head Chef at Renée’s Working Girl Catering. She has over 10 years of experience in the culinary field and her incredible passion for cooking helps her to be versatile which is essential to catering. Some of her favorite dishes to make range from Homemade Macaroni & Cheese to Prime Rib and Chicken Cacciatore, but her love of cooking and creativity enables her to create any masterpiece you can dream up. She also enjoys being a part of a chef-active pasta station at events. Brooklyn started working for Renée’s Working Girl Catering several years ago. She is a self-taught chef and has learned most of her culinary skills from her father and her collection of cook books.




Meet Beth, a Chef for Working Girl Catering. Beth has over 30 years of experience in the culinary field. She is a skilled sandwich artist that owned her own specialty sandwich shop for 8 years. After selling her shop when the financial recession hit, she went to work for a gourmet catering company for 14 years. Following that she was chef manager for a corporate kitchen for over 10 years. Beth started with Renee’s Working Girl Catering shortly after the Grand Opening. She is a very hard working, ambitious individual with many talents that complement our versatile menu options. Cooking is truly her passion. She has mastered healthy cooking techniques and continues to amaze us with the latest food trends.



Meet Liz, Baker and Cake Decorator for Renée’s Working Girl Catering Service. Liz has over 8 years of experience in the baking and culinary fields. She loves creating any sweet treats, but her absolute favorite is wedding cakes. She enjoys that she has the freedom to be creative when decorating wedding cakes and other baked goods. Her creations are not only beautiful, but delicious too! Liz joined the Working Girl team last year and is the perfect addition to our team. She is self-taught and has developed her many skills over the years through her previous experience in the field.



Meet Brenda, Bookkeeper and previous Event Coordinator at Renée’s Working Girl Catering. She began working with us in September of 2017 and continues to learn something new every day in the catering field. Brenda is one of the first people you will speak to because she answers the phone and passes on pertinent information to the other staff members. She is also in charge of certain corporate tasks, such as accounting and bookkeeping. Brenda has always loved working as a server and has had previous office jobs. Renée’s provides a happy medium of both and allows for creativity. One aspect that Brenda enjoys is turning empty tables into grand displays.



Event Coordinator

Meet Amber, Event Coordinator at Renée’s Working Girl Catering. Amber brings over 12 years of experience of event coordination and management. She became an essential asset to Renée’s team over 5 years ago. Amber’s favorite part of working here is the opportunity to meet new people and help plan their special events and weddings. Her everyday tasks include working with brides and their families to plan wedding and events, setting up meetings and tastings, meeting clients to write up proposals reflecting their expectations and dreams for their special day, and seeing the event through.

Event Manager

Meet Stacy, an Event Manager and Coordinator at Renée’s Working Girl Catering Service for over 5 years bringing 35 years of experience in the management and catering fields. She is a huge asset to Renée’s team. Stacy’s responsibilities range from answering phones and writing up proposals to meeting with customers and attending events as the lead event manager or coordinator. Stacy enjoys working with people and being included in their special day by providing the exact vision they had in mind. She has built many relationships with her clients and looks forward to building many more.

Event Manager in Training

Meet Megan, our newest Event Manager in Training. Megan started working for Renée’s in December of 2018. She can be seen doing several different tasks from working the store front to meeting with customers as she is learning all elements of Renée’s Working Girl Catering Service. She has previously worked with brides as a stylist in a busy bridal shop. She also has event planning experience from working with Events and Conference Services at UConn and has worked in various local restaurants. Megan is eager to begin managing events with our team.

Meet Louise, Ashley, Cheyenne, Cheryl, and Megan, Renée’s to-go storefront crew. These are the first people you will see when you walk through our door. This crew works hard to maintain everyday tasks at Renée’s and ensure that every customer is satisfied. They can accommodate special orders and put you in touch with a catered Event Specialist. Whether you are picking up an order, grabbing a meal for dinner, or sitting down for a sandwich, our store front crew will help you find exactly what you are looking for. Not only will you leave with a tasty meal, but a smile on your face as well!
